July 17th:
On Friday, July 17, 2009, I went to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to turn in ten part-petition sheets of signatures for what is called a pre-check. The BOE will do one pre-check of your part-petitions and let you know how many valid signatures you have on those part-petitions. If you have enough, you can file the petitions and become a candidate
May 9th:
It's a good day to stay inside and work on other things given that it's raining.
April 25th:
Going to the Pepper Pike Park to get signatures and pictures for the website.
Progress report: 100% in getting signatures, but a lot lower attempt rate. Time to change tactics for next week (and no, she's not in a wind tunnel).
April 18th:
Heading out for another afternoon of signature gathering. Check out how long the driveways are in the area.
At the end of the day and the end of another long driveway.
36 or 37 signatures have been gathered on her way to getting the minimum of 119 valid signatures.
April 11th:
Jill prepares to make her first walk to gather signatures to appear on the ballot.
Out meeting her neighbors and collecting signatures.
